I just got finished watching "The McMasters" with Brock Peters(who just passed away), Burl Ives, David Carradine, Nancy Kwan, Jack Palance, L.Q. Jones, R.G. Armstrong, & John Carradine...whew!
I noticed that a couple online resources mentioned that there were two different endings released. Anyone have any idea of what they are?

SPOILER ALERT
According to Leonard Maltin's guide, in one version villains led by Jack Palance win; in the other, the good guys prevail.
I saw it once on TV many years back and Indians led by David Carradine came to the rescue. That, I presume, was the good ending. |

That's the version i saw also. It was on a double feature Dollar DVD from by Family Value that I obtained at Dollar Tree.
Man, the indians coming to the rescue was negative enough, especially with Benjie stubbornly returning to his land even after the honkeys burned everything!
Thanks for the info.

| Mind if I ask what the other movie was on the double feature DVD? Just curious. |

If you're interested, I have a community about cheap DVDs(mostly dollar titles) at www.destrucity.com

Interesting. I browsed the list there... nothing I'm really anxious to see, but I'm surprised that "dollar DVDs" even exist. Exactly how much does it cost to produce a DVD? How do companies even make a profit?
Contrast that with the 80s when there was a glut of grey market and public domain VHS titles available; even the cheapest of the bargain bin vids cost $5 a pop. |
