According to the IMDB, there was good news and bad news for Aardman Animation.
The good news, the Wallace and Gromit film was number one at the box office.
The bad new: the Aardman studio burned down.
The film, by the way, is excellent.

Yes, hopefully they can find consolation in the fact that they delivered a wonderful, witty, perfectly constructed claymation masterpiece. My family saw it this weekend, and boy howdy, it was so good! An ending chase scene right up there with the one in "The Wrong Trousers."
I came, I saw, I was really too tired to deal with it so I just went to bed. |

A comedy that's actually funny, well-executed, and original. Why can't more movies be like this? (Plus, it's just cool to see someone still doing professional claymation.)
Bummer about the fire, though. I assume it was insured?
