Anybody interested?
(By the way, extra credit to anyone who could Tivo it and burn it to disc for me. Capturing stills off tape is too much hassle--in fact, I'm not even sure if I have my old Snappy anymore--but if I had it on disc, I could get some stills.)
PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?
HANK: Yes, and that woman's name was Earl Warren.

They had an interview with Lucy Lawless in the Washington Post
Express (their free train rag) today.
The interview was typical nothing. The PICTURE of Ms. Lawless
as a blonde.
Wowzers.
Not quite enough to get me to watch, but almost...

With work being pretty busy these days, there's probably not much of a chance I could have enough free time to participate, but just out of curiosity, how does one submit to those roundtables? What is the deadline?

Just write up your thoughts and e-mail them to me at ken@Jabootu.com. I'll probably put the piece up the following weekend, so I'd like submissions by the next Friday.

And one extra aspect to the film that could make it either funnier or more depressing is that it's set in New Orleans. It was actually filming in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina came through and forced production to move to Nova Scotia. That's some seriously fast turnaround time on this one. That's also some seriously bad karma too.
