So, as I was driving home toay, I heard a story on the radio about how today was the 30th anniversary of the day the Edmund Fitzgerald went to the bottom, an event known to most folks through the iconic song written by Gordon Lightfoot.
So what do I think?
"Oh, man, that' reminds me, I wonder if we could put together a roundtable to blast the upcoming TV-movie version of THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE!"
The Horned One is mighty indeed... ;) |

Waaaaah, don't mention the Fitzgerald or anything else having to do with the Great Lakes around me. I used to live less than an hour's drive from Lake Superior and then I had to go and move to a Godforsaken spot in Tennessee because a college there had successfully deceived me into thinking that it was any different from the colleges back in Minnesota. I miss Lake Superior.

(you know the tune)
Remakes aren't cool, will the public be fooled, Bring the film-makers in for their censure... What were they think-ing, I've a feelin' sink-ing, It's the all-new Po-sei-don Ad-venture. |
