Alright, alright. I give! I give! (heh).
I guess its been a lot longer than I thought - I could have sworn she kissed him with the live wire between them both.
Still, I hold that it was at least a cop out (though watching her in that outfit....shame they never pursued THAT Catwoman franchise).
And the Village was just an abysmal turd of a film. First, I don't think its fair to include it because it was hyped based on the Night Twist. So it wasn't a true twist, since you knew it was going to be there.
Otherwise, the premise was so misrable it was sad. In a conversation with a friend of mine, he liked my opinion. I felt that twist could have been that the world outside the preserve was a wasteland, and the people were keeping it secret for the children because they wanted them to at least have a happy childhood, since it wasn't likely that their little enclave would last forever, as radiation/whatever persisted. It would have explained the mentally challenged character and the girls blindness (from the radiation/etc), it would have explained why they were hellbent on keeping them inside, it would have explained why they picked red (color of blood, fire, explosion), it would have explained why they didnt have modern medical stores, and best of all - it would have done it without requiring any real change to what was filmed, just dubbing a few lines different.
I may expound on this on my blog.....should update more'n once a month.

One more thing - I'm glad I've found this site; from this I've found a lot of great sites, find some stimulating conversation, and found someone with the best name ever (She Known as Pip).
