I just finished watching this one. Hoo boy. This little horror flick kind of fell through the cracks of the Weinstein Company/Miramax split, so it received only a limited theatrical release. As such, it looks a bit more polished than the average straight-to-DVD classic, but don't be fooled. This was meant for the theatre. It just got lost somewhere along the way.

I must admit I had a personal interest in this flick when I noticed it sported a writing credit for Flint Dille. The illustrious Mr Dille has worked in many areas. His work that peopls are the most familiar with are the GI Joe and Transformers cartoons from the 80's. Flint has also done some wrting for comics, video games, and roleplaying games for TSR. There's a whole story there, but I plan to review his Dragon Strike Video (tm) at some point and will discuss these things more thoroghly there to pad it out.

As to the movie itself. Well, this ain't the review forum. Suffice to say it is filled with implausible occurances. It appears at least one of the writers read an entire book on voodoo and creole stuff. Character take actions that defy logic. And there's at least one scene where all in attendance exclaimed "Hey! They saw Sleepy Hollow, too!"

As to our heroine, I can think of only one word to describe her: bouncy. They were like the Nut O' Fun, but not quite.
This dog may deserve to be disceted someday, if only to give Mr Dille his place here, where he belongs.

Ah yes, "Flint Dille". Along with Smoke Tarragon and Quartz Coriander, he comprises a screenwriting trilogy of legendary skill...and aroma!

I'm not familiar with either of those, and the IMDb has nothing. Although it does list Mr Dille's extensive video game writing credits as well as the cartoon/toy commercial "Visionaries"

EDIT: Aw, man. You were funning me. I oughtta puch you in the eye until it bleeds. Or, just make you watch Venom.

At first, I thought you were referring to the 1982 kidnapping thriller.
