Great review! The thing though that sent me from laughing at the incredible goofiness of this flick to being incredibly ticked off was the deliberately downer ending they put on the movie. Oooooh, look, Kim Delaney and Frank Langella have saved the day.... but wait! No! The fault line is continuing to rupture! Now let's cut to Carlos Bernard's elderly parents so we can see their agonizing, horrible deaths! The End. How incredibly vile.

I noticed the movie also shoots itself in the foot concerning the Life Lesson that the Dean Cain character was supposed to learn. After all those lectures he receives about the Importance of Following Orders and Not Flying By the Seat of His Pants, he finally obediently does what his superior tells him to - and gets smooshed to death by falling rocks for his pains. Let that be a lesson to all you kiddies out there!

But all in all, an enjoyably dreadful mocie making for an incredibly hilarious review.

I was going to watch it, but I decided to take the less painful route and simply beat myself with a shovel instead.

Then you actually made the more painful choice as 10.5: APOCALYPSE was far more entertaining than agony.

Was the original aired over the 21st and 22nd?

I haven't watched them, but I ended up with 3 "10.5" recordings, one each from the 21st, 22nd & 23rd (the 23rd being the Apocalypse episode). If anyone is trembling in fear of missing these forever, let me know.

I'm not sure exactly what ran on the 21st & 22nd. The 21st was not in widescreen, so my recording is letterboxed x 2 (horizontal to fit what I thought would be 16:9 into 4:3, then vertical to fit the actual 4:3 into the 16:9). That ends up pretty small no matter what kind of screen you watch it on.

The other two episodes were presented in HD widescreen, so I could at least capture them in letterboxed 16:9. I haven't found a way to record anamorphically to DVD yet - at least not without a lot of cumbersome editing on the PC.

Thanks, dude. I'll grab what you have when I see you (presumably) later this week.

The show ran on Sunday and Tuesday, so the middle night was just regular programming, probably, whatever NBC shows then. Medium?

I hope I don't find the show looks terrific in HD, and thus have to rewrite my review into a rave.

PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?
HANK: Yes, and that woman's name was Earl Warren.

Probaby just has wider fissures in the plot. I'll have a look at the disc & try to figure out what's on it - I coulda sworn it was a 10.5 incarnation when I started recording the Monday show...

Doesn't your cable or whatever system offer multiple versions of the networks? Maybe one of them repeated the first chapter of 10.5 Apoc on Monday?

By the way, if Scott Foy reads this, if you can send me a perma-link to your review, I'll append it to our review.
