No, Abrams is still working on Trek. The part that was proven false was the rumour that they were doing a movie about Lil' Kirk and Lil' Spock.

Well, I'm not sure that's good news. If they aren't doing the Academy movie (and apparently that isn't entirely ruled out yet) who knows what abomination they'll come up with. I don't expect to see another TNG movie at this point, and no one really seems to want a DS9 or Voyager movie. Maybe he'll create something entirely new, but why even make it Trek then?? I have a feeling at the end of the day I'd rather watch Galaxy Quest again.

Yeesh. But at least they really did get the costumes right. Definately a stretch velour, and they even remembered that in TOS the shirt emblems were different for every ship (the now universal insignia was originally just for the Enterprise). Poor fitting on the extras, but they always get the shaft, even in real TV shows.

Too bad they didn't put as much effort into the acting.
