OK, so there's a big screen remake of POSEIDON,
as well as a crappy TV movie from a few months
back.
Jeez: this has to be some sort of record even for
an overly cannibalistic Hollywood.....

Sure, but there were a whole bunch of people you didn't even see in the last film. I'm sure their last days on board were filled with even *more* pathos. Plus, since it's the same ship sinking in the same way you can even reuse all of the F/X shots and just insert the new actors as needed.
Titanic 2: Those F/X did look cool . . . wanna see 'em again?

Yeah, it was cool the way the Titanic tilted but the boats hanging from the side DIDN'T sway or move in the long shots.
Mayhap I misremember. I only watched it all the way though once when I was about 14, and when watching it again recently had to turn it off for fear of either throwing up or busting a gut laughing. |

That trailer had more raw talent behind it than most of the films released in 2005.
