Some great stuff this week, including an obscure movie that I implore old movie buffs to give a look:

PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court? HANK: Yes, and that woman's name was Earl Warren.

That Brisco County Jr. DVD is definitely long overdue. I had enough of my wits about me at the time to record damn near all of 'em, but by now the tapes are starting to deteriorate. It had such a great goofy vibe about it, and it was so well cast with such awesome scenery chewing actors that it is still a real pleasure to watch. I'll take one...

Yeah, I haven't checked the set's contents, but presumably they were smart enough to have Campbell et al do a mess of commentaries, etc.

Looks like it is just the pilot. From the Amazon description: Available Subtitles: Spanish, French Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo) 27 episodes on eight discs Commentary by Bruce Campbell and Carlton Cuse on the pilot Brisco's Book of Coming Things: video catalog of the show's signature references to future items and ideas "The History of Brisco County" - retrospective documentary Tools of the Trade: interactive Brisco lore featurette gallery A Reading from the Book of Bruce A Brisco County Writer's Room: round table with key series creative personnel Booklet liner notes by Bruce Campbell
Still- it looks like a way cool package all in all.

Yeah, a lot of people on Amazon are complaining about the price (it streets at $100, Amazon sells it for about $66), but it's a show with a narrow audience, and you're still getting a good 30 hours of material (including the extras) for that price.
Since I lived through the VHS day, when the rule of thumbs was $10 per hour of material (or any portion thereof, as a 90m movie would generally run $20), $2 and change an hour just doesn't get my blood up. Yes, in a perfect world this would cost closer to $30. However, the fact that something this obscure--and believe it not, Bruce Campbell fans, but the guy is not a household name--is out at all would be celebrated, without complaints about the price.
