I love the logic of networks. Let's celebrate the 200th show and then tell everyone we're cancelling the series just before the party.
I thought their 200th episode was pretty funny.
They're just making more room for wrestling. :-)

SciFi channel makes me unproud to be a Sci Fi fan.
At least EUREKA is a cool show. That'll probably
last another 5 episodes given this logic.

Eureka is pretty good. This week's episode with the ionic disrupter aka death ray was a very amusing episode.
Nah, it will last longer than 5 episodes. However, they will decide to:
1. Change either the night and/or time of the show after everyone gets used to it on Tuesday.
2. Even though it is successful, in a cost cutting move, production values will plummet.
3. Spice up the show with sexier characters and more sex. You can never have enough sex. Look at how it "improved" Enterprise.
4. Claim undying allegiance to the show.
5. Cancel the show claiming lack of audience interest.
Actually, the thing that scares me is there are rumors of a spin-off from BSG called "Caprica." Unlike a significant number of people, I consider BSG to be a borderline show. While the season cliffhanger was bold, it could easily back the writers into a corner. They've backed themselves into corners in other aspects of the show and the solutions have not been inspiring.
