I liked it.
I know. I know. It's stupid. I used to like Jenny McCarthy, but have found her more annoying lately, but it had something that I think elevated it above most other gross-out comedies. It had pacing. I was in awe of how this movie captured my attention. It was because it managed to keep the plot turns coming at me. It didn't hit me with a gross joke and then linger on it too long for it to be funny anymore.Whatever this movie's virtues or faults, I was watching it and not looking around the room instead of at the TV. |

It's weird. Sometimes you'll see something in a film that others don't, and actually enjoy it. Maybe it's expectations. If you expect to really hate something, you find yourself pleasantly surprised. The marketing ramifications are appalling!
"Salmon! Tastes so much like fish, you'll probably hate it! Brought to you by the Salmon Council. Salmon!"
---------- We've always been united in stupidity. That's why there is no hope. But, then again, when has that ever stopped us?
