Oh man, Ken's gonna love this one.....
I won't say anything more except to quote the press release in its entirety, and apologize on behalf of my fellow libs:

New 2007 Film
Billy Jack’s Moral Revolution

… In a unique film genre never before seen in Hollywood
In addition, the new Billy Jack sequel will be the first film to launch a multi-faceted Political, Sexual, Spiritual and Psychological Revolution, and because America is “the only Nation founded for a Moral Purpose … the rights of every man, everywhere,” the film calls out to Mainstream America to help restore America to It’s Moral Purpose

… Beginning with the Impeachment of Bush and Cheney as the only way to end an insane and illegal war and force them to enact a superb Exit Plan immediately available; to stop bungling and start winning the war against terrorism at a time terrorists will soon have nuclear weapons in suitcases; stop the unprecedented worldwide hatred and chaos created by The Bush Doctrine; stop the cruel suffering still being visited upon the desperate victims from Katrina; and stop the mangling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights through Bush’s new sophisticated form of American Totalitarianism …

… and the Impeachment theme is only 1 of 5 equally controversial themes in the picture …
… woven into 4 magnificent, highly emotional love stories!

Oh, and, one scene, too:

Audiences will never forget the scene where a doctor places the hand of one of Jean’s humanitarian volunteers in Darfur on the bloated belly of a child to show how to diagnose which children will live, and which will die because of a lack of medicine that costs pennies:
SARA
Ewww! What is that? Something’s moving in there.

DOCTOR PALEY
Worms! That’s a mass of worms so big you can feel them crawling around inside. Without medicine she’ll be dead in a month.

Nobody would love to see this more than me, but Laughlin's been pushing another Billy Jack movie for decades now. I'll believe it when I see it.

Frankly, I'd hate to see him just do some cheapie shot-on-video thing. It just wouldn't be the same.

PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?
HANK: Yes, and that woman's name was Earl Warren.

Ugh. This looks like it's gonna be a plain horrible ego-trip. Have you read the part where he claims he can stage a debate between Billy Jack and George W. Bush using the same techniques they used on Forrest Gump?

Ken, having watched The trial of Billy Jack, can you tell me if at least it will have enough roundhouse kicks? I still have to watch any of these, they're not available in my country, but hey, I survived to Loose change.

Welcome to the "I told Ken about the Billy Jack Movie" Club. I remember telling everyone on this site in 2004. Except at that time, Billy Jack's Moral Revolution was slated for 2005. Don't feel bad, kumquat. Your not the first and I doubt you'll be the last.

As for the two links, Neville should get his fill of roundhouse kicks. And it should give you an idea of the future prospects of Tom's whoop assing capablity.

Am I the only one to feel my guts hurt every time Laughlin says "Faaaaaaaaaaboulous Dixie Chicks". Must be yoga psychic kick boxing.

What is a really Moral Life, and how do you live it? It will be a shock to most people to learn that you do not live the moral life by trying to convert others...

Wow. Then I guess everyone making this film is not living a moral life, right?

Now they need to make a movie where soldiers in Iraq actually find one of Saddam Hussein's secret underground chemical weapons facilities only to find it overrrun with big mutant sand spiders. And the the film will be called IRAQNID!

That already happened. It was known as "the nineteen eighties". When we started realizing how ridiculous 1970s idiots like Billy Jack were.

Maybe you would have better results trying to kill us neocons with sleeping sickness brought on by long, rambling political diatribes that sound like they were written by North Korea's offical newspaper.

You do know there is a movie out there that has Bush being shot, don't you? You think impeachment is controversial?

Been watching a lot of "Bollywood" movies lately, Billy?

Truly, they shall never forget. The two or three who watch this. They will never forget the wasted time or money.

Not since movie production in the Soviet Union was controlled by the state has a script been so constructed...

You know, if I was a wealthy person - I'd fund the guy, myself. C'mon Bill Gates, where's your sense of humor?
