Hi all.
Now that the thread asking people to chime in with their favorite Jabootu articles has been around a while, and most readers have had the chance to chime in, I would like to point out something interesting:
Almost every article has been mentioned!!
This is really hard to prove in practice, and it is not 100%, but the fact is that a very large percentage of the pieces available on the board have now been mentioned by someone or another in the favorites thread. I think this is one of the keys to the success of this site. Ken and gang are able to cover lots of different kinds of bad movies from lots of different angles, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
In support of this, and on a slightly different tack, very few pieces are mentioned by multiple people. (Aside from the true Masterwork of this board, the Jaws series) This means that the readers are a really diverse bunch, and are all looking for different things. That we all get along so well on the board is actually kind of amazing... :-)
Kudos to Ken et. al. for producing a magnificent site!
