Well, you seem to be conscious and capable of communicating, so all in all I'd say it went well.

You really shouldn't have gone it alone though. Joel and the 'bots could've helped you bear the burden.
(Or did you, in fact, have their help, and that's the real reason you're still relatively rational now?) |

Oh, they did, but I will have to re-watch and actually pay attention to what they said. I mean it was astounding. You know what mother said to me afterwards? "Space Mutiny was actually a pretty good movie."
Right afterwards I read the Agony Booth review and found that actually Hal Warren's daughter is posting there and everyone's trying to be polite with the "Well, it wasn't THAT bad." "I suppose I couldn't have done better with that budget." Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no... I understand courtesy but stop lying. |

Then I pored myself a generous double Irish whiskey rocks and watched Miller's Crossing to remind myself that yes, mankind, for all its myriad faults, is worthy enough to possess motion picture-producing technology.
Now to test your pain tolerance - Have you seen Monster a Go Go yet?

Monster a Go Go was arguably worse. Certainly the MST3K riffing wasn't as good.
Does anybody know which parts of the movie were directed by Hershell Gordon Lewis and which were directed by the other guy? |

Ok, I'll argue it.
The main problem with Monster a Go Go was that it was about nothing. And I don't mean that in the good Seinfeld way. I mean, really, NOTHING happened in that movie at all. Even the crew of the SOL couldn't do much with it.
Which to my mind makes Manos worse. Manos gives you a real icky feeling watching it, but MaGG just bores you to death.

I thought MONSTER A GO-GO was a good MST. The anger they had towards a flick makes some strong riffs. Like STARFIGHTERS, a movie long infomercial for Lockheed!...."Poopysuit...poopysuit!..."
Marvin the Paranoid Android to Buzz Lightyear "Too infinity and beyond-i've been there, its rubbish!" "Hoody Hoo, i waste 'em with my cross bow!" Bob Herzog- KDOT
