Whoa Nelly!
I think someone needed a paycheck.
Some of the old Enterprise crew stared in what looked like a fan made Star Trek movie. And let me tell ya, its bad movie gold. SOLID GOLD!

I haven't looked in to this too deeply. I just saw the trailer and then ran right over here to post it. It looks like some fans put this together and got some of the cast from the original series.
I leave it to you to get comments.
I believe the trailer would make a great drinking game. One shot of whiskey for each person you see staring intensely. Down the whole bottle for each dutch angle.
Update: My god! They used a Billy Jack alumnis.

Wow.
OK,
1: Why is Tuvak in the TOS timeline?
2: Chekov is NOT Kahn.
3: The FX look great, considering, but can we get over that BSG shaky docu-cam crap already?
4: Goatee alert! He must be eeeeeee-vil.
5: Uh, is anyone cutting Don Davis a check for the use of that music??
6: Could you preach a little more obviously? My two year old didn't quite get it.

As fan films go, I think it's pretty good. As for the preachiness, remember how preachy the original mirror universe episode was. Heck, this was a series that featured at least a dozen Vietnam allegories. It still doesn't approach the high-water mark for me (Kirk orating the Declaration of Independence to Cloud William). I'd watch it, and probably enjoy it.
