Dammit, my area didn't have this sort of thing. I never saw a late night creature feature show until after college, and that one had a really unfunny host and a library of about 15 movies.
We always plotted to bust in there, take over, and show 'em how it was done.
Alas, the revolution didn't get started before the plug was pulled.

Since Ken is also from Chicago, I think we finally know where he got his "Low Tolerance" for hippies at.
As to you Greenhornet...
1) The new Oak Grove Middle School looks great. When I studied there, it looked like Chernobyl after the meltdown.
2) I seriously miss Orange Bloosom Ice Cream.
3) I seriously miss Clearwater Firearms. They were the only people stupid enough to rent me an Uzi to play with.
4) I don't care if we are from Clearwater. I reserve the right to make fun of Tom Cruise and all his Scientology buddies.

Just like I remember sitting around the TV with my cousin Sandra and sister Donna, watching items like The Giant Behemoth when I was a kid. I suspect at least a few of society's ills could be addressed by a couple of things. One, the re-institution of the "family dinner". Two, family members watching cheesy b-movie horror flicks together. But, then again, what do I know...
