Gojira's haunting theme for the monster is tops in my book.
I also dig the ones for Puppet Master, Jaws, Halloween, and The Green Slime.
---------------- Probably more, but there's five. |

The Great Escape. Mysterious Island. Another vote for Ecstasy of Gold. Also Morricone's score for Once Upon a Time in the West. The Our Man Flint theme. Carpenter's entire score for The Fog.
Lots of Mancini...Baby Elephant Watch (Hatari!), Moon River, Experiment in Terror (aka for Chicago natives of a certain age, the Creature Features theme song), Peter Gunn, The Inspector theme from A Shot in the Dark (Shadows of Paris, the song that opens the movie is also great), even more than his sublime Pink Panther Theme. He also wrote the theme for the wonderful Jim Hutton Ellery Queen show.
Hank Hill, perusing a waiting room magazine: "I'll tell you what, this Goofus fella is a dumbass."
