A while back, listen to the Dennis Miller radio show,I came into as he said "the bat noise made my throat hurt"...okey, he was making a bat noise.
But I thought of Batman.
The I thought...what if Bill Shatner had played Batman? What if Adam West had played James T. Kirk?
Soooo...

Are there any actors you'd like to see playing a character as opposed to the guy/gal doing them now?

Well, Jack Lord was the original choice to play Captain Kirk so what if he took the role and Shatner eventually ended up as Steve Mcgarrett on Hawaii 5-0?

Martin Balsam was the first choice to play HAL in "2001." Not sure how that would have changed the role, but I believe he even recorded the entire role before Kubrick decided to use Douglas Rain instead.
