| LOL Is that real? I know the merchandising world is Jabootu's playground, but that easily the latest thing I'd like to remember from this movie. |

It's real, and so is the opening bid price. What sort of collectomaniac would want it for that much?
I hope you come to this part of the site more often, Neville. These dudes' reviews are fun to read, and I've got another one coming in a couple weeks, a certain 80s sci-fi film starring a huge TV star who never could become a big movie star.

The zero bids are also real. Whoever is selling that should think twice and look for a new career.
I'll keep an eye on this section, yes. |

"I’m impressed that Junior also flew out to Apollo Creed’s grave, dug way down, reclaimed the championship belt, cleaned the dirt and worms off of it, and hung it up in plain view." Wouldn't the belt have gone back to Clubber Lang, the last person to hold it other than Balboa before Balboa surrendered his title so he could engage Drago?
"Rocky and Tommy stop at the home of Father Carmine, the priest who gave Rocky out-the-window blessings in the first two movies. He throws a couple more down now. Tommy’s reaction was implausible the first time I saw this, and it still is. When Rocky makes the sign of the gross, Tommy hesitantly does the same with a mildly bewildered look on his face."
Making the sign of the cross is probably not common in Oklahoma, as most people there are probably Methodist or Baptist (see below).
"You’re telling me an Oklahoma farm boy is unfamiliar with priests giving blessings and making the sign of the cross? Garbage."
Yes, they would be. Remember, most clergy in Oklahoma would be called ministers, not priests.

| Gotta disagree, Enda. I lived in Tulsa for a couple of years, and folks there know the sign of the cross. |

| I am guessing that the point was that perhaps Tommy came from an area that had been inundated by Jack Chick pamphlets about the RCC, so that is why he felt a little surprised. |
