If you liked LOCUSTS then you'll love LOCUSTS! Huh? Oh, this is the UFO Films produced for the Sci-Fi Channel locusts flick. It can't possibly be worse than the CBS/Lucy Lawless one - I hope. They sound like they have virtually identical plotlines. If nothing else, at least the locusts in this locusts movie really will be maneaters.

quote:
Locusts: The 8th Plague (Premieres Nov. 12)
Genetically engineered locusts escape from a research facility and go on a flesh-eating rampage. Now a team of scientists and investigators must destroy the swarm before it grows too large to be stopped. Dan Cortese (TV's Veronica's Closet), Julie Benz (Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Steven Spielberg presents Taken) and David Keith (Path of Destruction) star.

LOCUSTS: THE 8TH PLAGUE... Darn, I missed the first seven. How will I ever be able to follow this one? :)

Well, seeing as how in the CBS movie the locusts eat anybody's flesh at all (although at one point towards the end they kind of delicately nibble on John Heard), this '8th Plague' movie has got a leg up on it already.

You never know - they may be locusts genetically fused with bird eater spider DNA.

Why? Just because!

Ah...might work...now if we just had a cameo by Toby McGuire...

Think they got the idea form a rerun of Dr. Phibes?
