Ken, I just want to say a big thank-you. My wife has been searching for a show from her childhood since before we were dating (she mentioned it on our first date in hopes I would remember the name). Everyone always insisted it was this show or that, but it never was. She had just about given up on it as a figment of her imagination when I came home last night with a printout of pictures downloaded form the Frightenstein fan club.
She was stunned. Obviosuly I ordered the DVD.

Any small service I can do your enchanting wife is entirely my pleasure. I'm glad I was fairly diligent this week about checking various release lists; that one almost got by me.
I hope she enjoys the DVD, and perhaps its something she'll be able to share with the kids. If all goes well, the four-edisode disc will sell well enough to trigger some full season sets.

Yup. Or rather, they hired him for four days, filmed about a hundred pre-planned scenes that had nothing to do with anything else on the show and then ran with it for 25 years (at least in Canada, it didn't get more than a year here in NY).
It seems the DVD was delayed, but it is listed on BestPrices.com at under $10.

Yeah, it was pretty obvious Price had nothing to do with the rest of the show. Still, it's always nice to see him.
Ever catch him in Dragonwyck? Wild. I grew up in the Catskills, so...
