I know i just started a thread about scarriest movie moments, what are the 5 funniest movie moments for you?
Mine are:
1.Tommy Boy- The scene in the guy's office where he is talking about the difference between brake pads ("Oh my gawd! Were burning alive!!!"
2.Clerks- The scene where the lady is asking Randall if he's "heard anything good about those 2 movies"
3.Not Another Teen Movie- The music montage at the end ("True love is what i want the most, I just jerked off in your french toast!")
4.Hot Shots- The scene in the bar where Ramada is singing.
5. Airplane- The whole movie! |

1) The 'Black Knight" sequence from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Yes, there are may funny moments to choose from, but that just seems to stand out to me.
2) From Young Frankenstein: "Frau Bluher!"(whinny)
3) From Kelly's Heros- whenever Oddball begins to talk about 'Negative waves."
4) The ending of Dr. Strangelove. From "YEEEEEHAAAWW!!!" to "DOES HE HAVE A CHANCE??!! HELL YEA..." and the ever famous "Mein Furher! I kan Valk!"
and that is all I can think of at the moment...

The "Lassie" scene in "Porkies". (sorry, you had to be there when it first came out). Ok - the scene in "Arthur" where...never mind, it was just really funny, at the time. Really.

Some random moments that always make me laugh:
1) 4 weddings and a funeral; Hugh Grant inadvertently reveals the infidelities of a friend's wife, and tries saving himself: "So...any pitter-patter of...tiny...feet?" Hilarious and embarrassing.
2) Withnail & I: the poacher pulls a live eel out of his trousers and beats it to death on the bar.
3) Those Magnificent men and their flying machines: -"I didn't know you could fly" -"A German officer can do anything!" (consults his aeroplane manual) -"Ah, step one: Sit down." (Sits down) Simple, but oh-so-funny.

Life of Brian --> The scene where Pilates challenges the guards to laugh at the list of funny names he is... well, listing.
Wonder Boys --> The moment where Robert Downey Jr. is trying to recover Michael Douglas's unpublished book. |

"He has a wife, you know. Incontinentia." (pause) "Incontinentia Buttocks."
I gotta single out Oscar, when Stallone promises Tim Curry a big heap of money, and turns over the "moneybag" yet again to reveal... a big heap of women's underwear. |

#1, 2 and 3:
The scene from "I'M GONNA GET YOU SUCKA" when Isaac Hayes, loaded down with all manner of fire arms, slips on a stray shell, falls, and all the guns go off for like 2 minutes.
We saw it on VHS for the first time, and we had to rewind the movie for 10 minutes to catch what we missed from laughing so hard.
#4 Weird Al's UHF - Most of it, but especially the scene with Emo Phillips and the table saw. Usually, I don't find gore funny, but this just did it for me.
#5 PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE - His encounter with Big Marge.

Well if we're talking MOMENTS and not MOVIES, here's mine (somewhat repetitive of others):
1 - The Black Knight in Month Python and the holy Grail. "Merely a flesh wound." Nuff said.
2 - UHF, "You're so stooooooooooopid!" Kills me.
3 - Court Jester, the entire "The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle..." scene.
4 - A few moments in *gasp* Cabin boy - David Letterman's cameo, "Wanna buy a monkey?" Chris Elliot's incoherent ramblings on the raft, and "These pipes.... are cleeeeeeeeean!"
5 - Bret Favre being the "Bret" referred to throughout "There's Something About Mary" took me SO off guard, I can't stop laughing.
I came, I saw, I was really too tired to deal with it so I just went to bed. |

In no particular order:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail--The Whole Movie
Hot Shots Part Deux--The bow-and-chicken scene
Airplane!--the Saturday Night Fever send-up scene
UHF--the fake commercials
There's Something About Mary--Ben Stiller vs. Puffy the Dog
Being real is good. Being interesting is better. |

2. When the band can't find the stage and wanders aimlessly backstage in " This is Spinal Tap."
3. In "Monty Python And THG" when the pasty little son just wants to s...(music swells) and his father yells "Stop that! Stop that!" The music winds down...and stops...
4. The baptizing scene in "Ed Wood."
5. Groucho's "shot an elephant in my pajamas" monolog in "Animal Crackers.
She was bred in old Kentucky, but she's just a crumb up here. |

The Pink Panther sequal where Kato hides in the refigerator to ambush Inspector Cluseo.
The traffic jam in "Two Tars". Road rage is fun!
The "Tong War" in Buster Keaton's "The Cameraman".
"Duck Soup" where Harpo Marx sticks his feet in a bully's lemonaid cart. Also Groucho's "Rules" song. We line them up against the wall and POP! goes the Weasel.
"The Queen is testing poisons." CLEOPATRA, 1935 |

Ya Know.
I always liked that scene because that guy had it coming.
In other instances the Marx brothers would annoy anyone who was standing around them at the time. But in that instance, the lemonade vendor started the incident right from jumpstreet and Harpo finished it. |

Team America: World Police - The drunken vomiting scene, complete with dramatic, swelling music, had me in tears. |

The funniest moments to me would vary wildly depending on what kind of humour I’m in the mood for. Let’s see, just a few which come to mind ...
1) *Reefer Madness* (the musical) - the ‘Little Mary Sunshine’ song
2) *Life of Brian* - when the PFJ runs into the ‘<something> to Free Galilee’ in Pilate’s palace
3) *How to Get Ahead in Advertising* - the first dinner scene, with the “eels full of estrogen!” line
4) **Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead* - the whole thing, but I’m especially fond of the ‘Just a conspiracy of cartographers?’ quip
5) *Ed Wood* - I’ll second AnnGora’s mention of the baptism scene.
6) *Snatch* - “The fact that you’ve got ‘replica’ written on the side of your gun ...”
7) *Blues Brothers* - “This is car 55. We’re in a truck!”
~D ( “you mean, like when a clown dies?” )
