Ya Know.
I always liked that scene because that guy had it coming.
In other instances the Marx brothers would annoy anyone who was standing around them at the time. But in that instance, the lemonade vendor started the incident right from jumpstreet and Harpo finished it.
I forgot to add that Harpo's foil was well-played by Edgar Kennedy. "Freedonia is at war!" "I'm going to take a bath." |

They'd sue. A Night At The Opera was a hundred times better. |

It's hard to come up with 5 off the top of your head... anyway:
1) "Wallace And Gromit IN The Wrong Trousers": Gromit is about to run out of track when chasing Feathers McGraw.
2) "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle": I didn't want to find this film funny, but when Neil Patrick Harris steals the car and then drives off over the curb outside the petrol station, well, I was in stitches.
I'll think about it some more and come back.

1) USED CARS: I could say the whole movie contains 3 of my top 5, but I'll pick just one: Marshal Lucky's commerical for New Deal Used Cars. Take this, you dirty old high prices! I could just as easily pick Big Jim vs. the protesting nuns.
2) SO FINE: Jack Warden's assessment of the action between his son and Big Eddie's wife, from the top of the staircase. His reaction to the streets of Venice later in the film is pretty funny too.
3) DRUM. Some folks immediately think of Sgt. Hulka, or Alfredo Garcia, when they see Warren Oates. Not me. The first thing that comes to mind is "you knows I like big titties!" thanks to this trainwreck of a sequel to MANDINGO. Why this one hasn't had the Jabootu treatment yet is beyond me. A jaw-dropper from start to finish.
4) DEATH WISH 3. As with my third pick; who said the comedy had to be intentional? I could pick any number of moments here but I'll go with Kersey and the police captain walking down the street and playing Hogan's Alley against the assorted creeps.
5) DUCK SOUP. I'll pick the mirror sequence.
One from the silent era: pick a moment, any moment, from either THE GENERAL or THE NAVIGATOR.
One from recent years: EUROTRIP's "Scotty Doesn't Know" song.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles: From the moment John Candy takes the wheel of the rental car to the moment he sets it on fire. Its easily the fifteen funniest minutes ever put to film.

| I would have to say any of the songs in Team America, from "Everyone's Got AIDs!" to Kim Jon Il's big musical moment. |

| Team America is full of funny moments, but I think my favorite of all is the unleashing of Kim Jong-Il's attack panthers. |

These are in no particular order, but two of my top five are from "The Gods Must Be Crazy":
1. The scene with the truck with no brakes, the hill, the gate, the rock and the baboon.
2. The scene where Steyn goes to the school to apologize to Kate. I laughed until I wept.
And for my other 3 picks:
3. The opera in "A Night at the Opera", beginning with the replacement of the orchestra's sheet music.
4. The breakfast scene on board the battleship in Buster Keaton's "The Navigator".
5. Clouseau disguising himself as a pirate, complete with inflatable parrot, in whichever "Pink Panther" movie that was. ("Fifteen chests on a dead man's rum...Yo, ho, ho and a bottle of chests...")

A few for your consideration... just the punchline; if you haven't seen the movies, correct that mistake post haste!
From Young Frankenstein: "Sedagive?!?!"
From The Pink Panther Strikes Again: "That is not my dog."
Any gag from Bringing Up Baby. Take your pick.
And who can forget Some Like It Hot? "Well, nobody's perfect." |

Airplane- "Bobby, do you like movies about gladiators?" And an honorable mention to the end, when Robert Stack is just rambling into the radio with no one listening. "Christmas, Jack, what is that? A living hell..."
Johnny Stechino- The whole movie.
This is Spinal Tap- The whole scene with the lead guitarist whining about the size of the sandwhich bread.
The Naked Gun Ed: "And when your husband recovers, he's welcome back on Police Squad." Frank: "Unless he's a drooling vegetable. But that's just common sense."
The Big Lebowski- "Dude, 'Chinaman' is not the preferred nomenclature." |

Chaplin's Gold Rush. Two big men struggle over a shotgun, somehow pointing it unerringly at Chaplin as he frantically tries to get out of danger.
Evil Dead II. After his own hand tried to kill him, Ash cuts it off and puts it in a box, weighing it down with books. On top: A Farewell to Arms
The Wrong Trousers "Good grief -- it's you!" when the penguin's clever rooster disguise is removed.
The musical score to Chicken Run.

In no particular order....
Young Frakenstein: "There wolf."
Beetlejuice: The "Day-O" scene
Galaxy Quest: Any scene with "Guy"
Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Mr. Rooney's secretary
Raising Arizona: The calamity the ensues after Nick Cage robs the convenience store, specifically:
"Son, you got a panty on your head."
