For those that get the Sci-Fi Channel, LOCUSTS: THE 8TH PLAGUE airs this Thursday at 9/8C and I highly recommend it to thus that want to marvel at a film cliched to the core and cheesy as hell. And it's much superior to the CBS version from earlier this year, but then how could it not be. Hey, maybe this will lead to them copying CBS and following it up with VAMPIRE BATS: THE 9TH PLAGUE? It could happen.

Oh, Lord...its what i expected...a cheesefest of Biblical proportions!

The first guy to get "Buzzed" by the bugs, and they go right through him....oh, i am so not buying that!
What, these things are moveing fast enough to do that? I don't THINK so! If they were postulated to have heads shaped like, and as sharp as, a broadhead hunting arrow...maby. But they diden't! I've seen pass throughs on deer with broadheads, and they were moveing a bit faster then the bugs. But...these locusts,they had regular flat locusts heads. NOT HAPPEN"IN!
Notice the propensity of people to leave doors open in this film? Even in labs where clean is good? Yeeszh...
And why did that bug die from just crawling into a cow skull? A sacrifical locust required by the plot?
Oh, the riffing potential is off the scale in many parts of this...thing. I kept expecting the catatonic kid to start screaming "Them!"
All in all....tis a cheesefest, devoutly to be insulted. Have at you!
