The first episode of our new podcast is up. It's called, generically enough, the Cult Movies Podcast, and you can download it (and subscribe to its feed) at:
http://cultmovies.libsyn.com/
The first episode is an interview with Ken Begg of Jabootu.com about B-fest, and we'll be doing (more or less) weekly episodes with DVD picks and other news.
Yes, we're working on getting it into iTunes. No, you don't have to have an iPod to listen to it. The files will be straight MP3 files that you can listen to on your computer or on any player that supports MP3 files.
We crave your feedback about this episode. Download, listen, and get in touch. Suggestions are welcome and we may be taking audio submissions in the future, so if you have ideas for a podcast about b-movies, you know where to find us.

I've been told in other places that I should really explain what a podcast is. Just think of it as internet radio. Essentially you download an MP3 file and listen to it in your player of choice. There are software options whereby you can receive additional episodes by subscribing to the podcast and having it delivered automatically to your computer and/or MP3 player. (Like an iPod, hence the name.)
At any rate, Ken waxes nostalgic about the good old days of hash brownies (not that he condones that behavior, you understand) and The Creeping Terror in this episode. It's worth a listen.

That was interesting! I want to do a podcast! Is there really audience participation and dancing on the stage? Ken sounds like a northerner.

Smartpopcorn dot com has an interesting podcast, although it really needs to be shorter. They do little or no postproduction and do not work from a script, so it has a very informal, chatty, "guys talking about movies" flavor.
Unfortunately, this means that half the time is "Er, Uhm, and you know." It's really hard to take an hour of it.
