No one has posted about Capt. Kirk putting his gall stone..or was it kidney?...up on E-bay?
Got $20.000 for it, and plans to give it ( The money, not the stone.) to Habitat for Humanity.
Is it me? Am i the only one NOT surprised by this? Are we too jaded or what?

Better yet, I'd pay to rent his scalp and leave it "untenanted" for a month, so that pictures of the ShatnerDome would finally reach the public.

Oh, sure - I had a kidney stone that had to be surgically removed, and my only request was that they save it so I could wear it on a pendant around my neck. But no, they had to perform "tests" on it. But Mr. Big Hollywood Star William Shatner has one, and HE gets to keep it! Equality, bah!
Seriously though, I feel like this brings me and Mr. Shatner closer - we're both members of KISS (KIdney Stone Society). It won't be long before we're sipping Romulan Ale and checking out Priceline.com together. |

I had a kidney stone a couple of years ago.
Ouch doesn't even BEGIN to cover it. It was
a bonding experience with my Mother in Law,
though: she said the pain was way worse than
she'd had in giving birth to twins.
For all that pain to finance a chunk of change
for a good cause, Mazeltov to Captain Kirk!

My condolences, Mike. Mine awakened me at 5:00 AM and I thought I'd been stabbed from under the bed like in Friday the 13th. Worst two nights of my life, hands down.
