I agree with Noonan. The propensity of people to think that talking aboutimportant thing, make the talkerimportant, is a common falacy. In the response section, to Noonan's article, the two big disagreers, came across as big egos who had their feathers ruffeled. The "I know know more then you-ooo! Nyah!" response of a spoiled child. The others , admittedly from my biased view, came across as people who were not quite so caught up in self. People with less varied experiances tend to get caught in a rut. A mental rut, in Hollywoods case, that come from being insecure in dealing with challanges to its base belief system.
Any belief system, that does not allow for the common human imperfections, we all have, leads to hide bound thinking, and inflexable responses. And Liberals are just as prone to that, as we Conservitives. The question...how well does each group accept that fact, and do something about it?
