This is too funny. Almost funnier than PotC II (rather gruesome, I thought).
Steven Segal, portly, in a long shirt and jacket, with that damn pony tail, is repeatedly pitching a silly film idea to a movie exec. While chasing the movie guy, he nearly gets blown up, tossed off a golf buggy, rides over a flaming bridge, etc.
Good bits: Segal's face/intonation: still as flat as a flatfish! I would say he's been botoxed but he's always looked like that.
His movie pitches: kinda making fun of his habit of picking/writing naff scripts;
Him fighting the movie execs at the beginning: it's obvious that they used lots of wild cutting and flashy bits. This (poorly) disguised the fact that he is no more a lean mean fighting machine.
The coat and long yellowy-orange shirt. Not tassled, still trying to disguise his increased mass.
He must be dying his hair by now. It's absolutely coal black in a slightly unnatural way. (I may be wrong.)
Hahahahah!

Well, his hair has always looked unnatural to me. It must be that strange haircut he aklways wears.
And about his size... I'm puzzled that somebody who owns a fortune hasn't hired a personal trainer or tried more drastic solutions to his weight problems. |

With each passing year he looks more and more like Jim Belushi.

| But Jim Belushi is a much better actor than he is. OMG! I never though I'd say that of Jim Belushi! |

| Heck, by now, I imagine Jim Belushi is a better martial artist. |

| Wasn't there a movie a few years back where Jim Belushi actually did a parody of Steven Segal? Not a movie I've ever seen but I'm sure I remember seeing mention of it somewhere and I'm not quite curious enough, god forbid, to search Belushi's filmography. |

| I'm thinking this site needs to do something on Jim Belushi. |

Yeah. If he weren't pretending to be a kick-ass martial arts guy, the weight gain would be just, you know, what happens.
Agreeded - a Jim Belushi film. Here's his page on IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000902/
Wow he looks like Steve. |

I think the movie you're talking about is Joe Somebody (2001) (see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0279889/). It's a Tim Allen comedy in which Belushi plays a wacky karate instructor.
About Belushi himslef, most of his late career is Jabootu worthy, specially the K-9 sequels or his attempts to do serious acting in cheap-o thrillers like Traces of red or Separate lives. I never found him funny, anyway, and I only tolerate him in cameos.

The only performance from Jim Belushi that I ever enjoyed was in that old Tom Hanks spy comedy "The Man With One Red Shoe".
