Damn there has been a lot of Boll-related news of late. Here's more:

Honestly? I could easily see him wanting to do a sequel to BLOODRAYNE, simply because of the three Boll films I've seen, this one was probably the closest to being watchable. It's merely a bad film, while the other two are, to quote the ad copy for CHASTITY, "A Whole Other Thing." Not that I want to defend the film. To give you an idea of how bad it is, there's actually a cut scene from the original video game that was more legitimately frightening than the theatrically released movie. To me anyway.
I've got to admit that his posturing about POSTAL annoys the heck out of me. He hasn't proven yet that he can even make a decent film that means nothing -- let alone something with a message. Comedy is, I suspect, a hell of a lot harder than "entertaining vampire action film", and BLOODRAYNE certainly proved he can't do that.

A western with vampires? OK, now it's something personal. He can do real bad movies, trash the careers of any actor who works with him, star in insane publicity stunts, give lame interviews in which he claims to be some kind of misunderstood genius, etc.
But NOBODY is allowed to remake that jewel that was John Carpenter's Vampires and expect to die peacefully. |

The reason I don't buy the rumor about BLOODRAYNE 2 is because he told me the same exact thing about a sequel set in the Wild West in my last interview with him. Also, last I'd heard he had a bit of a falling out with Kristana Loken.

For Loken's sake, I sincerely hope so. I honestly don't understand anyone wanting to work with this guy ONCE, now that his reputation precedes him. Working with him twice? <shudder> (And Loken's done it.) |

What I'm saying is that there's nothing new about these rumors. He may very well still talk of the Wild West BLOODRAYNE 2 but I seriously doubt anything will ever come of it. It's just like the way he keeps talking about The Rock starring in his movie version of FAR CRY: just wishful thinking on his part.
