According to Satellite News, Rhino has lost the rights to ALL FOUR movies on the MST3K Set #1:
Catalina Caper
The Creeping Terror
Bloodlust
The Sky Divers
As SN advises, if you haven't gotten Set 1 yet, grab it soon. |

It should be remembered that that early set also had the unaltered cuts of the films too. So grab that set while you can, as it's currently the only way to get a clean (if not great) copy of Sky Divers and Creeping Terror.
PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?

The tenuous video availability situation that much of Jabootu's fare finds itself in has made me think that the people who distribute The Criterion Collection should start a new series called The Bizarro Criterion Collection. It would specialise on Jabootuite films and would release them in double dvd sets with lavish extras.

Amazon.com is selling the varies MST3K sets for roughly 45% discounts right now, including the first set mentioned here. I assume they are cleaning off their shelves, so order now.

Maybe Sandy Frank's lawyer gave Rhino permission to put out Gozilla vs Meg without Frank's knowledge and Frank has just found out about it now and is way pissed and is threatenting Rhino with a lawsuit or something.
