Got my first issue on my new subscription to WIRED today and of all things- Uwe Boll has a freakin' feature article. It's all from the angle of how- and I quote- "the world's worst director" found a way to live out every bad director's fantasy and fight his critics. I haven't read it yet but you have to admit Uwe is a phnomenon, love him or hate him. I think a world without Uwe would be a sadder, grayer place.

Well, the article basically made him out to be a talentless cretin who literally beat defensless nerdy critics because the didn't like his movies in a brilliant publicity move to hang onto a career. Which is pretty much the case. The article didn't go into why he's a diva of terrible filmmaking the likes of which haven't been seen since Ed Wood. According to the article his grosses are decreasing significantly for each release while his budgets are getting bigger. So you may not have Uwe to kick around much longer!

Plus two more mystery projects in the works: one a drama about the decline of the social security system and the rise of poverty in America and the other a war film about the "tunnel rats" during Vietnam.

As hard as it might be to believe, Boll isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Well, I guess no further proof is needed to demonstrate that Uwe works far outside the standard laws of the universe when it comes to... everything, really.
