Pretty cute.
Depending on the direction you move, they say "forward" (mae), "back" (ushiro), "left" (hidari), and "right" (migi). There's also a fifth one I can't quite catch, but I'm pretty sure it's "diagonal" (naname).
If I'm reading the FAQ right, I think this is a page advertising an award or contest given by the Recruit company for interactive web content, but I could be mistaken. The Japanese is just a bit above my level. This page appears to have the actual contest entries for this year, with the three on top being the winners. |

| What do they say when you click? I found that bit specially funny, as well as what happens if you make those people work too much. |

I think it's just "yoi-sho", a generic "heave-ho" type exclamation used when moving something heavy. Again, the sound is quite confusing and it's hard to pick out the actual words. Sometimes I think I hear other things as well, but nothing I can make out clearly.
In the end though, there's nothing really special about what they're saying. It's pretty much what any group of people trying to work together would say. |
