Oh my!!! And here we were talking about 2010... and I had just pulled out a copy of Rendezvous With Rama and was planning to start reading it tonight. How weird is that. He was one of the top 10 writers ever in my book. What a sad day.

One of my favorites. I read every fiction book he wrote from Rendezvous with Rama on. My flag is at half-mast.

Oy. He wrote the forward of the paleontology book I'm currently reading. That might be the last written work of his published during his life. R.I.P. Mr. Clark.
