I found Jabootu through badmovies.org. It was during one of the roundtables and the first Jabootu article I read was Robot Monster. That was back when I was in college and I used to read Jabootu reviews when I was suppose to be writing code.

It's been quite some time since I stumbled across Jabootu (must be at least eight years), so I'm sure my mind has purposely fogged the specifics of that memory, you know, to protect my sanity (or what's left of it). I think I'd read a newspaper article about "bad movies" that mention badmovies.org, and from there found my way here.

I was doing the wiki drift and ended up reading over the Superman Movies, there was a link to the review of Superman 4 and I was hooked. After that I went over nearly every review on the site and enjoyed them all. Heck the review for Jaws convinced me that it was more then just a 'killer <blank> movie' and worth a look, now it's one of my top movies.

For me it had to be at least 8 years ago. I'm pretty sure it was still KWAM then. I'm not sure what the first movie review I read was, but I am almost positive that it was a link from IMDB. I do remember laughing out loud at Ken's assumption that "Abe Lincoln, Freedom Fighter" might not be a true story. Then I read the R.O.T.O.R review, and nearly had to change my pants.

Link from either StompTokyo or Bad Movie Report. Can't remember which now. I think the latter though.

I think it was ST-->BMR-->Jabootu-->AYCYAS. Then I found out about the whole "Cabal" thing and the rest is history.
