To be honest, I just wish I could figure out how to be as bad as Mr. Boll and make even a fraction of his money (not to mention getting my own sad concepts green-lit by some insane studio bigwigs).

I can't say "Postal" was good, but it was actually funnier than 50 percent of the "comedies" that come out these days. It was also beyond offensive (the first 5 minutes of the movie will turn off most people).
Which brings me to a completely off topic point. I recently watched "Feast 2", in which (spoiler!) a young baby is killed in a somewhat (if you can believe it) jokey manner. I have 2 kids myself, and that scene repulsed me so much that I almost couldn't finish the movie.
However there is a scene in "Postal" in which small children are being shot randomly, and I almost giggled at this scene. I know it sounds horrible, but the scene was almost reminiscent of a Monty Python sketch.
So I have to wonder, how can I be totally offended by one scene of brutality against a child, and be OK with it in another. I guess it has to do with the construction of the scene, but my different reactions definitely surprised me.

I think a lot of it has to do with how far the scene is "over the top" along with a note of deadpan seriousness. That's what made some of Monty Python's classic routines so funny.
