Huh. The trailers are still doing nothing for me but I guess we'll see. I doubt I'll be able to resist going on opening night.

I like McCoy. He's got it nailed. But the movie is about Kirk and this guy is an affront to Shatnerism.

| It has already opened in the USA, according to the IMDB. Looks like in Europe it will take another month, presumably to work in the dubbing / subtitles / marketing / etc. |

Hummm...does seem rather McCoy, attitude wise...seem he hates shuttlecraft as much as transporters.

Bruce Greenwood is Capt. Pike! I must admit that kicks ass. I'm still not excited about this one really but a bunch of friends are going next Saturday and I'll be with them. I predict box office records being shattered. Even if I personally hate it (and hey, I hope I love it) I bear J.J. nothing but good will for trying to revive the zombie corpse that is Trek in the wake of the unholy Berman/Braga alliance and Enterprise.

Having Sylar as Spock would give "Spocks Brain" entirely new meaning if they remake that.
Spock as a brain eater would be interesting.
