| I'm curious about the goodest and grossest discontinued sodas pops on earth. What are the deceased soda pops that make you say, "To hell with my long-gone friends, I wanna meet THIS stuff in the afterlife!" And what are the deceased soda pops that made you spew it all over Creation, throw your head back, and shout at the heavens, "Where were the test-marketers?" |

You need to go here:

Check out the Soda Ranch. It's the most awesome! Hundreds of different kinds of pop. Guy food in the diner, certainly, but if you're near Oklahoma City, it's worth the short side trip. Tip a cold Pig Iron Cola for me.

When I was a little girl, there was a beverge called Pomac. It was an amber colored drink that tasted like a non-alcoholic brew. Of course, I didn't know that at the time because I was just a wee lass. Haven't seen one of those in {{{blankety-blank}}} years.
She was bred in old Kentucky, but she's just a crumb up here. |

RC Draft was a good one, it was like a cola/rootbeer. Unfortunatly, it was for a limited time and even though the reception was good, the company had made it clear that it would be produced for just one year.
What was that about, anyway?

| Do they still make Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt? I once read what they had to say about it The Agony Booth and I still chuckle whenever I remember the article. |

I think I drank up the last of the Lightning Bolt from my (formerly) local Walmart in Olive Branch Mississippi. I developed a bizarre taste for the stuff and it appeared that they actually brought in a bunch of (dusty) cans from some other Walmart location. I wrote about it on my website (which was, unfortunately, wiped clean by HostMonster) :(

Welch's Apple Soda = win for best carbonated beverage ever *g* I really liked the Pepsi Jazz sodas that got the ax recently. Also the seasonal Pomegranate 7-UP they had last Christmas.

^I was thinking along the same lines. Apple Slice was fantastic. Today, only Orange Slice remains.
Pomegrenade 7-Up.....I might be mistaken, but I don't believe that's just seasonal. I believe I still see it around. **shrug** I dunno.
Holiday Spice Pepsi was a good try, but the spice flavor wasn't quite strong enough, and it ended up tasting just like Mr. Pibb. I imagine a stronger cinnamon flavor would be quite nice. |

| Sierra Mist with Cranberry, which is seasonal, makes a great mixer. There was a version of Sprite called with Remix or Berry that was extremely sweet, like drinking skittles. |

That'd be nice if the 7-UP was still around. I haven't seen any down here (Tennessee) but it might be a regional thing...

Sierra Mist with Cranberry! Yes! I'm a cranberry fiend.
I must have been the only person who liked Coke's "C2" back in the early '00s. See, I only drink diet pop usually, but occasionally liked a six ounce mini can of C2 cause it had sugar but not heaps of the stuff like regular pop.

I miss cane sugar. I've been hoarding Mountain Dew Throwback & Pepsi Throwback, but the supplies seem to have run out now. Mexican Coke is awesome when you can find it; 355ml glass bottles of cane-sugar sweetened deliciousness.
Tangential question: Has anyone ever tried the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona? (They serve Mexican Coke and refuse to carry diet beverages, from what I've heard.)

Well, we have 7-Up. I meant the Pomegranite 7-Up. I've looked everywhere for Throwback and haven't found a bottle yet.

| Anyone ever try Mexican sodas? Mandarin is quite good, limon in way too sugary. There's a sangria flavor i haven't gotten around to buying yet, looks interesting though. |
