Did you hear about the casting of Blake Lively as Carol Ferris? She has only reached the age of 22. That mirrors how Kate Bosworth had only reached the age of 22 when she played Lane.
Compare that to the 1970's, when they cast Margot Kidder as Lane; Kidder had reached the age of 29/30. (Christopher Reeve had only reached the age of 26, but his height made him look older.) Ryan Reynolds, at thirty three years old, may look about right, but Lively will look a bit too youthful. |

I think they should have a teaser at the end of the Green Lantern movie that leads into Carol/Star Sapphire as the villainess for the sequal. Something like this:
Carol takes her private jet fighter for a slight over the desert. The camera pulls back from Carol's close-up to outside the jet to reviel that the scene is on a monitor. The camera pulls back farther to show a couple of "space women" watching her. Fade out to credits
At least, I would do that if they were using the origonal origin for Star Sapphire.
PS: PLEEEAAASE have SS do an English accent like in the Justice League cartoon! The fans loved that!
