Oh, brother bear, where are thou?
I wonder what those conservative family association will have to say about films often featuring T&A and gruesome violence being distributed under the Disney label. I smell future lawsuits. "O see, I just bought this Disney film and my son has started feeding the hibiscus with blood."
This said, is harder to find a movie closer to a cartoon's spirit than "Death Race 2000". Closer to Tex Avery than Disney's, though. |

Back in the early-mid sixties (You young whippersnappers!) you could count on Disney to produce movies and cartoons that were pretty good. They were not always high quality, but adults could find enjoyment in them as did the kids.
Sadly, a lot of what comes out of the studio now makes it looks like the makers were hypnotised or something into makeing some cruddy re-makes. I often have visions of them coming out of a theater in a daze, saying "But it looked so good in production...."
