Everything old is new again, and the WB tonight launches a Sex College series called The Bedford Diaries. It's pretty clearly an updating of Jabootu fave The Harrad Experiment, only with iPods instead of Don Johnson.
Expect this to die fast (or, if it hangs only, to do so only until the WB/UPN merge), and then come out on DVD edition that pushes more sex and nudity but not better scripting.
PEGGY: I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?

Yeah, look for the up-comming "special edition" dvd set with "scenes too hot for TV!". IE: All the scenes that made no scence or added notheing to the story. |

Whoa, I missed this: the WB and UPN are merging? Or was that a joke? (Since I don't watch network TV anymore and or any of the tabloid-entertainment shows, I'm not "hip" to this stuff.)
Back on topic, reality TV has been dredging the mud for years now, so nothing really surprises me. Nevermind the networks, look what's happening to the new crop of reality shows on "respectable" cable channels like TLC where the L in TLC more and more seems to stand for looooon. |

Both.
The new network is to be called "The CW." I've yet to hear anyone volunteer what exactly those two letters are supposed to stand for, and I'm not interested enough to do the Google research.

While Completely Worthless may be more accurate CW stands for CBS/Warner as CBS and Viacom own the controling interest in the United Paramount Network.

Let me see if I can get past the mental scarring to describe the film.
Lots of people sitting and talking, mostly hippies.
New location, more sitting and talking.
Naked hippies outdoors, sitting and talking.
Back inside, more sitting and talking.
Smaller group of people, sitting and talking.
I turned if off around the 15-hour mark. Ok, it only seemed like 15 hours, but jeez... It made 12 Angry Men look like a Verhoeven film by comparison.
