What, no EEEEvil church? I've must have played half a dozen games with that plot twist.
I remember getting really angry at the AWFUL Xenogears because I could tell that the church was going to be EEEvil. Why? Well, the company who released this game also released Final Fantasy Tactics, which also had an evil church. So an already talky game was getting even longer. (And this was before the game grinded to a halt on disc 2.)
Also, I think it's funny that you can revive a fallen party member as long as you want, but if the script says so, stabbing them in the back will finally kill them when getting shot or eaten or having a meteor fall on them only made them mostly dead.
(We need more RPGs with trippy backgrounds and hippies and Mr. T and mushrooms that grow out of your head!) |
