You're not the only one laughing. As much as I loathe Michael Moore.... Mr. Laughlin, when you are best known for growling out, "I... just... go... berrrrZERK!!!" you really can't complain about someone else being over the top. |

Hmm, I read over that movie investment idea.
The only film investment to guarantee you, in a worst case basis, 100% of your investment plus a 50% Return in 24 months
… and a high probability, though no guarantee of a 300-400% return in three years.
Well, it certainly gives me a script idea for Laughlin. Billy Jack becomes involved when the Freedom School is chisled by an unscrupulous group of embezzlers who tricked them into a pyramid scheme!

"Look sonny, don't get ahead of me here. I always tell the villain what I'm about to do to him."
"Okay, okay. I haven't got all day."
"Right, where was I...oh yeah! I'm going to take this right hand of mine."

"Yep, the one with the walking cane sporting the hand-carved Navajo motif."
"Uh, huh."
"And I'm going to give you a smart rap on the 'noggin, but on the right side of your head."
"Wouldn't it be easier to hit me on my left side, seeing as how you're right-handed and all?"
"What are you, some kind of smart-aleck?"
"And why aren't you wearing any shoes or socks?"
"Because this has to be done the right way..."
"And those toenails! Hey, Joey, look at these things. They're like Frito-Lay corn chips. You know, gramps, they make this anti-fungal stuff..."
"Will you let me finish? Where was I?"

Ken, if your out there, I must say you REALLY nailed it when you put this in your article:

Now with these fireside chats we have been seeing, you have the proof.
And the gems Laughlin has bestowed on us. I loved how he introduced the FAAAAAAAAAAAbulous Dixie Chicks(Hey, Laughlin, I challenge you to name 3 of their songs). But my favorite is when he is talking about class action lawsuits and he says:
"The same company put out a vaccine for children that was laced with mercury. Giving the rise to the epidemic in autism. Which is debateable! But there's no question it.
And they got away with it."
Well which is it, Tom?
I haven't seen that much waffling since breakfast with morning. At least, that was easier to swallow.

Why do I find it so sinister that he used Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Chris Matthews in the same sentence?
Frankly, I can't wait. Entertainment value would be priceless.

IF Billy Jack calls you "over the top" then what does THAT say about Moore.
I mean this is the guy who tried to take advantage of college shootings telling the guy who took advantage of school shootings that he was going a bit too far.

Heh. It seems Tom Laughlin's way to finance films nowadays is a lot like the way Ted V. Mikels does it.
