Just wanted to dash off an apology to y'all for the horrendously poor message board availability lately.
It'll be a few weeks, but I already have new network lines installed & I've ordered a new server, both for the purpose of getting the forum website & its database to stay in better touch with each other.
At some point in a few weeks, I'll be "moving" the forum's URL to forum.Jabootu.com instead of Jabootu.com/forum. Your existing logins & posts will remain intact.
Thanks for your patience, everyone, and my apologies again for the all-too-frequent downtime of late.

Ya; it's even worse going over and over your server config and having no idea why the hell connectivity just won't happen.

I'm just glad we're back again. I'm getting sick of having to apologize all the time!
Note to other geeks running Windows servers: If you ever use VMWare Server for virtualization, do NOT give a virtual machine direct access to the system partition on the physical host. NTFS donna lika something about how it sees the partition through the virtualization layer, and it wantsa chkdsk it on every boot. Let that happen & corruption is almost sure to ensue.
