Now I'm really starting to feel my age.

Personally, I'd rather see someone like Chow-Yun Fat play the ersatz Miyagi, but no matter. Can't Hollywood have the decency to wait till I'm older and grey before it starts remaking movies like this?
Anyways, it's been penned by someone who's never written a movie before and being directed by the guy who did Pink Panther 2, so you just know this concoction's gonna be fantabulous. |

In the remake I would write, a retired solder of fortune arrives before Miyagi saves the kid, beating up the punks with a cane and a few well-placed punches. He advises "the kid" that he should kick the bully between the legs or throw a baseball at his head.

| zombiewacker, Chow Yun Fat already played the sensei... in the recent Dragonball movie. I guess he won't want to play another one until... ehm... next year I guess, when he returns for the obligatory Dragonball II. |
