If I recall correctly, Sharpton's comments in the past have actually served to fan mob violence which resulted in death and destruction of private property.

His comments served to besmirch the reputations of good men falsely accused by Tawana Brawley. I'm pretty sure he passed judgement, publicly, on the Duke Lacross players.

But no apologies are expected to be forthcoming.

A hideous double standard and most of the mainstream media is complicit through their silence.

And, of course, Sharpton still defends O.J. -- and to this day labels whites who thought O.J. was guilty as "racist".
