I became an instant fan of MST when I saw a movie called something like The Incredible 50 Foot Man. At the beginning a man is nearly burned to death in a reactor fire. We see him in a hospital bed covered in terrible burns and clearly in great pain. His girlfriend is there weeping. Looking at him the doctor says "Well this guy just ran out of luck" To which Tom Servo says:
"Yeah..when he landed you as his doctor!" |

Who can think of 'Warrior of the Lost World' without immediately yelling out "Megaweapon!!!"? Or 'The Phantom Planet' without reciting "You know, Captain, every year of my life I grow more and more convinced that the wisest and best is to fix our attention on the good and the beautiful, if you just take some time to look at it."? Or exclaiming "It stinks" when pondering 'Pod People'? Or get hopeful that Lembek is staying when watching 'The Projected Man'? Or propping one's knee on a chair in anticipation of 'The Giant Gila Monster'? Or just plain out declare that you don't care when somebody suggests watching 'Time of the Apes'?
People made of sterner stuff than I, that's who...
